Property Lifecycle
Your stock board: where every property is in its life, from Prospecting to Reserved. Tracking only, it does not change what is published.
Property Lifecycle is your stock board. It is about the properties themselves rather than the people, and it shows where each one is in its life.
Where to find it
Open Property Lifecycle in the left sidebar. See the sidebar map if you are not sure where that is.
How properties get on the board
Automatically. Every property lands on the board based on its publishing status, so there is nothing to set up. Properties you already had were placed on it when the board launched, and anything new joins as soon as it goes online.
The stages
The default board runs left to right:
- Prospecting
- Off-Market
- Coming Soon
- Active Listing
- Featured Property
- Price Reduced
- Offer Accepted
- Reserved
Drag a card to the next stage as the listing develops. The stages are customisable, so you can rename them or add your own to match how your agency works.
What it does not do
Moving a card does not change what buyers see. The lifecycle stage is for your own tracking only. If a property is genuinely reserved, sold or withdrawn, change its publishing status separately on the listing itself: see Changing property status.
What to use it for
- Spot listings that have gone stale and need attention.
- See at a glance which properties are candidates for a price reduction.
- Find stock you should be promoting harder, for example by featuring it on the public portal.
Next steps
- Changing property status
- Sales pipeline and tracking, which tracks people rather than properties
- Editing existing listings
