Managing listings
Edit live properties, change status, control visibility with private listings, track enquiries and export your stock.
Managing listings
Once a property is live, this is where you keep it working: editing the details, changing its status as it moves through the sale, controlling who can see it, and watching the enquiries it generates.
If you are creating a property for the first time, start with Listing a property instead.
In this section
- Editing existing listings - change price, photos, description or features on a live property.
- Changing property status - Reserve, Register Sale, Take Offline, Do Not Share with Agents and Delete, and what each one does.
- Private listings - keep a property off the shared MLS while still managing it.
- Tracking property enquiries - see which listings are actually generating interest.
- Export listings (XML) - send your stock to your own website or another portal.
Keeping listings healthy
A listing that is out of date costs you twice: it wastes the enquiries it does attract, and it drags down how your other properties are ranked. Two habits are worth building.
- Update the status the day it changes. A property still showing as available after it has gone under offer generates enquiries nobody can act on.
- Revisit price and photos on anything sitting past the local average days on market. You can check that figure for the area in Area market reports.
