Changing Property Status: Managing Market Availability
Within a highly collaborative real estate ecosystem, real-time data accuracy is your ultimate strategic advantage. Whether an exclusive mandate has been successfully rented or a sale has been finalised, you must update its status immediately to reflect its true market availability.
This critical process allows you to mark your active listing as unavailable, pending, or sold. Keeping your property information up-to-date helps potential renters, direct buyers, and co-broking agents see the exact current state of the asset. This is an imperative requirement of the PropertyList network - maintaining an accurate digital portfolio is essential for ensuring a frictionless user experience and consistently connecting you with qualified, active leads.
Step-by-Step: How to Update a Property's Status
To adjust the availability of a mandate, follow this rapid, streamlined workflow from your digital headquarters:
- Step 1: Access Your Active Portfolio Navigate to your main dashboard and click on the “MY LISTINGS” tab to view your complete digital inventory.
- Step 2: Locate the Mandate Scroll or search to find the specific property you need to update.
- Step 3: Open the Strategic Options Click the “OPTIONS” tab associated with that specific listing to open the management dropdown menu.
- Step 4: Deploy the New Status Select the appropriate new status from the dropdown menu to immediately update the system:
RESERVE: Deploy this status when a reservation deposit has been officially received and all parties have signed the reservation agreement. This action signals that the property is currently unavailable for other offers or viewings, securing the deal in your pipeline.
REGISTER SALE: Deploy this status when the sale of this property has been officially finalised and signed at the notary’s office. Congratulations on closing the deal!
TAKE OFFLINE: Use this option if the property is temporarily unavailable. This action hides the listing from the active MLS grid and from public view on the portal. The data is saved securely in your CRM, and you can bring it back online at a later date.
DELETE: This action will permanently remove the property and its associated data from the infrastructure. You will not be able to recover it once deleted. Use this option with extreme caution!
Accelerate Your Active Inventory
If your property is still highly available and you need to aggressively drive direct leads or co-broking interest, you can utilise the same "OPTIONS" tab to deploy premium marketing. Simply select “FEATURE YOUR PROPERTY” to instantly boost its visibility across the active MLS grid or the public Property Portal.
