Connecting your developments XML feed

If you already manage your developments in your own system, you can send them to PropertyList automatically with a developments XML feed, instead of adding each one by hand. This is a separate feed to the standard agent feed, built for developments and their units.

How it works

You give us the URL of your developments XML feed. PropertyList reads it on a schedule and keeps your listings in sync - new units appear, sold ones drop off, and prices update automatically.

What every listing needs

To publish and stay live, each unit in the feed must include, at minimum:

  • A valid location - the town or area, ideally with coordinates. A missing or unrecognised location is the most common reason a listing does not appear.
  • Photos - a full set (a good target is 13 or more), each on a reachable URL.
  • Core details - price, property type, bedrooms, bathrooms and built size.

If listings are not showing

If units are missing after an import, it is almost always the location field or the image URLs. Check that the location matches a real place and that every image link opens on its own. If everything looks correct and listings still do not appear, send us your feed URL and we will check how it is being read - occasionally the fix is on our side, in how your feed's fields are mapped.
