More photos, and video, on your listings

Published 27 August 2026

From today, PropertyList listings carry more photos and, for the first time, video. Here is exactly what changed, what it costs, and what it means for the media you already have. The short version: we stop throwing your photos away, video arrives, you are only ever charged at Publish, and nothing you already had costs you anything.

Feeds stop losing photos

Until now, when an XML feed delivered more than 25 photos for a listing, PropertyList silently dropped the extras. Your photographer shot thirty frames, your feed sent thirty, and five of them vanished without a word.

From today we keep everything your feed sends, up to 100 photos per listing. The first 25 publish free, exactly as before. Photos beyond 25 are saved and held out of sight, and nothing happens to them until you decide.

Video on your listings

Listings now support real video, playing in a proper player on the property page, not a pasted YouTube link. Two ways to add it:

  • Upload in the CRM. Open the listing, go to the Media tab, and upload the file next to your photos.
  • Send it in your feed. If your feed includes video URLs, we pick them up automatically on the next import, and offer them to you before anything is published or charged.

Video specifications

FormatsMP4 (recommended, H.264 video with AAC audio), M4V, WebM, MOV
SizeUp to 200MB per file for CRM uploads. Feed videos stream from your provider's hosting, so no fixed cap applies; we recommend keeping files under 500MB so they start quickly on mobile.
LengthNo enforced limit. Around 2 to 3 minutes holds a buyer's attention best.
How manyAs many as you want per listing.
Price5 credits per video, charged when the listing publishes.

The money rules: charged at Publish, refunded on rejection

Extra photos cost 1 credit each and videos 5 credits each, and the same four rules apply to both:

  • Saving is always free. Add fifty photos and three videos to a draft and save it as often as you like. The form shows what publishing will cost before you press the button.
  • The charge happens at Publish. One charge, for exactly what the listing carries at that moment. If your balance does not cover it, the publish is refused with a clear message and nothing is taken.
  • Rejections are refunded in full. If we reject the listing for any reason, the whole media charge comes back automatically. You only ever pay for media that actually went live.
  • Feed extras need your consent. When an import brings photos beyond 25, or video, nothing is published or charged. You get one notification, in the CRM and by email, totalling what is held and what it costs, with three choices: approve all, reject all, or review listing by listing. If the listing is already live, approved media appears immediately, no re-approval needed. Declining is free, the media stays saved, and we only ask again if new extras arrive.

Everything you already have is included, free, forever

Every listing that already carried more than 25 photos before today has been marked as included. Those photos stay live, stay free, and will never appear in an offer or a charge. This change applies only to new media arriving from today. Nobody wakes up to a bill for photos they already had.

Why we built it this way

Most portals either cap your media hard or quietly charge for whatever arrives. We wanted neither. The rule we settled on: nothing is ever charged without being shown to you first, at a price you saw before you agreed. If that costs us a few impulse credits, fine. It is your media and your balance.
